| I play the title role in this seasonal children's show by Plaza Theatrical Productions. It is a musical based on the animated movie from the late 1970's. A very silly show, the character I developed for it is almost like a walking cartoon. You'll notice actor TC Weiss makes an appearance as the villain: I worked with him previously on Willy Wonka Jr., Charlotte's Web, and Wizard of Oz. Regina Spano is awesome as the Groundhog, and Deanna Dubinsky plays Eliza. Trevor Firetog plays the Knight (he was also in Wonka with me). The original run of the show lasted about 20 performances and went from early December to January 24. Enjoy! | |
