Unker & Physia: Wet Spruce

I make a quick "blink-and-you'll-miss-me" appearance in the fifth and final episode of Unker & Physia, a web-series created by my college friends Jessica Howell and Paul Guyet.

I also helped out with some of the behind-the-scenes stuff for the show, like the fake sprinkler effect/carrying set pieces and props, etc.

Check out their Youtube channel or Facebook page for more fun content!

Brendan's Museum Trip

This was the first video project I made upon purchasing a digital video camera. I went to the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan and filmed my trip. I tried to edit it as if we are seeing the evolution of the Universe all the way up to the advent of mankind.

It's sort of amateurish I guess, but I got some cool shots. This video is what got me into learning about editing software, and spurred me to create a youtube channel etc to share the work I've done. Well, enjoy!

Stalker aka Writer's Block

This is a short film by David Lawson, done for the School of Visual Arts. I play the role of the roommate in one scene. I filmed my stuff on March 20, 2010. You can download the script and some of the production notes below. For some reason, the title of the film was changed from "Stalker" to "Writer's Block" but I think the original is much better so I've kept it that way.

A Lot to Show

This is a short scene I did for an New York University film class. The script was sort of nebulous as far as who these characters were, so I came up with a little scenario in my head and went with it. I actually got paid for doing this, which was nice. It was the first time I ever worked on a set that was set up like your typical TV sitcom or drama. Wasn't much different than acting on stage though. You can also download the scene below. Enjoy!

Sarah - Indie Horror Film (Final Cut)

6/1/2003

This is an ultra-low budget horror film, shot in the woods of Young County, Texas, during early June, 2003. The film was written and directed by Graham Skipper and co-stars Ian Lassiter (two of my college buddies). The original version of the film was about an hour long, but I edited out some of the really amateurish parts in 2011, making this 40-minute cut of the film. It still has a few moments where the audio gets a little low, but overall, the film is at least watchable now.

Here is the description from the DVD box: "After crossing paths in the woods, Jack (Ian Sinclair Lassiter) and Will (Brendan Hunt) travel together through the wilderness with the hope of finding civilization... and new lives altogether. When the ghost of a young girl begins to appear, however, both Jack and Will find that the other holds secrets too dark to tell..."
