| This version of Twelfth Night was produced by a company called Queens Shakespeare. We first performed the play at the Bowne Street Theater in Fall 2008, where I played the pirate Antonio. We then did a production of Arsenic & Old Lace before setting our sights on Manhattan. The head of our theater company secured a gig at the renowned Flea Theater (Off-Off-Broadway), and we performed the show from June 17-20 and 24-27, 2009. I play the character Feste, the jester, and composed/play some of the music in the show. Also starring Anne Rosen (Viola), Jonathan Emerson (Sebastian), Danny Mittermeyer (Toby Belch), Adam Gallinat (Sir Andrew), Viktoriya Papayani (Olivia), Nathanael Vaky (Malvolio) and Greg Mocker (Orsino). | |
