I play the title role in this seasonal children's show by Plaza Theatrical Productions. It is a musical based on the animated movie from the late 1970's. A very silly show, the character I developed for it is almost like a walking cartoon. You'll notice actor TC Weiss makes an appearance as the villain: I worked with him previously on Willy Wonka Jr., Charlotte's Web, and Wizard of Oz.  Regina Spano is awesome as the Groundhog, and Deanna Dubinsky plays Eliza. Trevor Firetog plays the Knight (he was also in Wonka with me). The original run of the show lasted about 20 performances and went from early December to January 24. Enjoy!

I did about twenty performances playing the title character in this abridged musical version of the classic movie. I also play the Candy Man and a reporter. This was another children's theater production I did with Plaza Theatrical Productions. We toured around Long Island, NY, performing at schools, theaters, and libraries. This Plaza Theatrical Production is a live performance of the Wizard of Oz, featuring Caitlin Ryan as Dorothy, Brendan Hunt as the Scarecrow, Renier Schepers as the Tin Man, T.C. Weiss as the Cowardly Lion, Carrie Heffernan as Glinda, and Jack Holly as the Wizard. I worked with T.C. and Carrie again on Willy Wonka and Jack Frost later that year. I had previously worked with Jack Holly on Romeo and Juliet (2004) and Taming of the Shrew (2005), and with Carrie on The Tempest (2010). These were all done by Plaza Theatrical Prod., a great place to hone your chops as an actor and meet other talented individuals. I'll be adding a downloadable version of this video soon.

This is a one-act dark comedy written by Margot Perry, the daughter of my High School drama teacher. It was entered into a contest at the Manhattan Rep Theater and made it all the way to the final round!  We were invited back to perform at the theater about three times before we finally lost to some other goofy show. I play a creepy butler in this one.
